The decision was complicated, but Bryan Danielson knew it was time to leave WWE for AEW.
Of course, it was exceptionally difficult to say goodbye. Danielson built countless relationships in WWE over the past dozen years, as well as enjoyed incredible success. He headlined WrestleMania on two different occasions and stole the show in his WrestleMania 35 title match against Kofi Kingston.
