Bruce Irvin, Falcons Agree to 1-Year Contract After Raiders Release

The Atlanta Falcons and pass-rusher Bruce Irvin agreed to a one-year contract Wednesday.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Falcons plan to utilize him against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

Irvin is an Atlanta native, and he tweeted the following regarding his decision to sign with the Falcons:

ESPN's Vaughn McClure also spoke with Irvin about his choice, and the veteran revealed that he turned down better offers in favor of joining the Falcons: "This was a dream [come] true. The Patriots and Steelers offered more money, but being able to play for my city and my people, you just can't put a price on that.
