Brooks Koepka in four-way tie for lead at U.S. Open after the second round

There’s a four-way tie for the lead at the U.S. Open.

Brooks Koepka bogeyed the par-3 sixth after hitting his tee shot near the grandstand and fell to 7 under at the second round at Erin Hills. He’s tied with Brian Harman, Tommy Fleetwood and Paul Casey for the lead.

Thursday leader Rickie Fowler is at six-under 73, tied with J.B. Holmes and Jamie Lovecraft going into the weekend. Hideki Matsuyama brought himself into contention with a bogey-free 7-under 65, and he is now -5.

Defending champion Dustin Johnson, whose second son was born earlier this week, failed to make the cut into the weekend, shooting a 73 to finish four over.
