TOWN AND COUNTRY, Mo. — Brooks Koepka won the P.G.A. Championship on Sunday, holding off a crowd of contenders that included Tiger Woods to claim his second major championship this year and his third in 14 months.
With a 16-under-par total, Koepka, 28, won by two strokes. Woods, seeking his first major victory since 2008, finished second after recording a six-under 64 in the final round.
Koepka surged into the lead here with a combined score of 129 for Friday and Saturday, entering Sunday’s round with a two-stroke lead at 12 under par.
