Just as we suspected, the Denver Broncos are bringing back a recently released veteran.
After signing 15 undrafted free agents, the Broncos needed to cut two players to make room for the UDFAs on their 90-man offseason roster. Denver wanted to get a good look at a large group of rookies at minicamp over the weekend, so the team cut punter Matt Haack and long snapper Zach Triner last week.
With rookie camp now wrapped up, the Broncos are re-signing Triner, the Denver Gazette's Chris Tomasson first reported Monday.
