Personal accomplishments from NFL players off the football field often go unnoticed by fans. Other times fans may notice, but it gets a bit of a shrug because they don't see how it matters in terms of game performance. I would argue that fans should take notice of certain things and realize they absolutely do impact on-field performance.
One recent example is Brock Bowers graduating from the University of Georgia. Sure, people get their degrees all the time. NFL players often go back to get their college diploma. But few are able to do what Bowers did.
He left school after his junior year to enter the NFL draft.
