Brian Stann was nearly impossible to hate throughout his MMA journey, both inside and outside of the Octagon.
It's been 12 years since Stann last fought, when he put on an all-time classic against Wanderlei Silva in Japan. Afterward, he worked the UFC commentary desk for five years before leaving the sport behind altogether. During his career as a competitor, however, Stann trained at JacksonWink MMA alongside the legendary current UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones.
All these years later, Stann still keeps up with MMA from a distance. The former UFC fan-favorite shared his thoughts on the whole Tom Aspinall title situation on Wednesday's "The Ariel Helwani Show.
