Peyton Manning and the Broncos' Super Bowl 50 victory has touched off a lighthearted beer war in Colorado.
In the wake of the quarterback's postgame "I'm going to drink a lot of Budweiser" comment, the Boulder, Colo.-based Brewers Association — and specifically the industry trade group's craft beer program director — reportedly sent him a selection of beers from some of the state's "over 4,000 small and independent craft brewers."
