Braxton Miller makes brilliant case as OSU's best player

BLACKSBURG, Va. — They were locked shoulder-to-shoulder, singing the alma mater — really singing it, mind you — with big smiles across their faces. At the front of the line, of course, was Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones. To his immediate right was J.T. Barrett, whom he had edged out in training camp for the No. 1 spot, and to his left was running back Ezekiel Elliott.

One of the Buckeyes' stars, however, was missing.

Braxton Miller, who hadn't played in a football game since Jan. 3, 2014, couldn't make it in time to join his teammates.
