Elsewhere, others weren't as fortunate.
Carson Wentz continues to underperform for the NFC East-leading Philadelphia Eagles, and the Los Angeles Chargers, led by rookie quarterback Justin Herbert, continually find ways to lose.
With each passing week, the playoff picture becomes clearer. Nine different AFC squads have already managed to win six or more games, whereas the NFC isn't quite as potent with six teams that have reached the same threshold.
