The Russell Wilson-Denver experiment ended (very sadly) on Monday.
Two weeks ago, he told Brandon Marshall he wanted to win two Super Bowls in Denver.
By any metric, the Russ trade will go down as one of the worst ever.
- Denver gave up all this for two mediocre years from Russ, whose $245M extension never even kicked in with the Broncos
And to get rid of him, they're paying $85M in dead money, $39M of which will go right to Russ.
Because he's already taken care of financially, he's an interesting candidate to sign with a team on a smaller contract.
