That's what Boston College's Noa Merritt did to force a fumble that was recovered by fellow defensive lineman Kevin Kavalec for a touchdown in the third quarter of Monday's Quick Lane Bowl at Detroit's Ford Field.

Merritt, a 6-foot, 277-pound junior, blew past Maryland center Brendan Moore as the Terps were in a shotgun formation. Before senior quarterback Perry Hills could hand the ball off to sophomore running back Ty Johnson, Merritt was on top of them.
