Bills GM points to Patriots to defend highly-criticized draft strategy

Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane has faced considerable criticism for failing to draft an elite wide receiver to pair with reigning NFL MVP quarterback Josh Allen.

He was asked about the lack of urgency at wide receiver when appearing on "The Pat McAfee Show," and he used legendary quarterback Tom Brady and the New England Patriots' old way of doing things as an argument for his approach to building the Bills' 2025 roster.

"Look at Tom Brady, when we're talking about some of these teams that have won Super Bowls," said Beane.
