Bill Simmons' new HBO show finally has a name, premiere date

Bill Simmons is back, and in big way.

The former ESPN talent and Grantland head hauncho's new show on HBO now has a name and scheduled premiere date.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the first episode of "Any Given Wednesday" is set to air June 22.

The inaugural season of show, a partnership between's Simmons' forthcoming web site The Ringer and the network inked last year will feature 20 half-hour long episodes. It will provide both news and commentary on on sports and pop culture.
