“This horse is a dream come true, I don’t know if I will ever see another like him, and I have a lot of great horses,” the Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert said of his Triple Crown winner American Pharoah.
American Pharoah’s owner, Ahmed Zayat, had said that he would like to keep his colt on the racetrack, despite his breeding rights already being sold. Did that change when he won the Triple Crown?
“Well obviously those decisions are made by Bob, the horse will come first, but knowing Bob, as competitive as he is, he will let us enjoy him a little longer,” Zayat said.
