Behind Enemy Lines: Commanders' additions, departures, draft, comp picks and cap space

2024 was a rough year for the Dallas Cowboys. Not only did they relinquish control of the division back to the Philadelphia Eagles, but they also saw themselves surpassed by another team in the division. After rebuking overtures for two seasons, Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn found his perfect opportunity and relocated to Washington to steward the Commanders back to relevancy.

And he did that with expediency, as the Commanders not only became competitive, they won, and won a lot. They won all the way to the NFC Championship game, a feat the Cowboys haven't accomplished since the 1990s.
