Baylor outlines how it responds to allegations of sexual assault

Baylor president and chancellor Ken Starr, in an open letter to the university community on Sunday, outlined the "comprehensive external review" of the school's response to accusations of sexual assault on campus that he said the school initiated in the fall.

"Consistent with our Founders’ vision, Baylor has always been — and steadfastly remains — firmly committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for our wonderful students," Starr wrote.

However, his letter posted on the private Baptist university's website came a week after ESPN's "Outside the Lines" reported that Baylor officials ignored alleged victims' accusations of sexual assault on the Waco, Texas, campus.
