Seimone Augustus hit the go-ahead shot with 4.3 seconds remaining, and the Minnesota Lynx finally put away a scrappy Dallas Wings team in a 89-87 win.
Minnesota controlled most of the first half, but the Wings outscored the Lynx 31-18 in the third quarter to take the lead heading into the fourth.
That’s when Sylvia Fowles took over. Fowles finished with 27 points and 13 rebounds for her second double-double of the season.
Maya Moore made her presence made early with two early 3-pointers. She scored a season-high 21 points off 5-of-12 shooting.
Lindsay Whalen didn’t score her first points until the fourth quarter and ended up with four points and six assists.
