Auburn running back Jarquez Hunter was the first Tiger taken in the 2025 NFL draft on Saturday when the Los Angeles Rams snagged him with the No. 117 overall pick in the 4th round.
The pick is notable as Hunter unites with Rams General Manager, and fellow Auburn alumnus Les Snead in Los Angeles. There is common ground between Hunter and Snead, but the interest from Snead in Hunter goes beyond a shared alma mater. Snead reportedly had an eye on Hunter since last fall, and knew that he wanted to bring him to Los Angeles.
