GREENBURGH, N.Y. — Take 44, in which the Knicks try to get it right, again, again, again, again and so on and so forth.
I hopped in my car on Monday and drove to the Knicks’ training facility here in leafy Westchester for an afternoon news conference announcing the appointment of another Knicks president and another Knicks general manager. Coach Jeff Hornacek, meanwhile, retains his job after a deeply inauspicious debut last season; he’d be advised to keep his sublet.
The Knicks, it should be noted, have employed 11 coaches, temporary and otherwise, in the past 16 years.
