The Arizona Cardinals have a new player on their roster with an international exemption. Austrian tight end Bernhard Seikovits spent the last four years on their practice squad through the international exemption the NFL allows for teams having a player from the International Pathway Program.
However, that changes this year. The Cardinals released Seikovits after they announced the addition of six rookie free agents.
According to Cards Wire's Howard Balzer, the Cardinals will use the international exemption on one of their undrafted rookies — offensive lineman Valentin Senn.
Senn is Austrian like Seikovits.
