Welsh Premier League side The New Saints, who currently hold the record for consecutive top-tier victories, are aiming to stretch their historic win streak into the 30s.

Fabregas sets Premier League record

The previous record had been held by Ajax's 1971-72 team which boasted football legend Johan Cruyff, with the Dutch side having reached 26 in a row. TNS set a new record of 27 on Friday with a 2-0 victory over Cefn Druids.

And now, with two weeks off to rest their legs before facing Newtown on January 14, the Park Hall side are preparing to come back and hit the ground running.
