Former Philadelphia 76ers star Allen Iverson had $500,000 worth of jewelry stolen from his backpack at a Philadelphia hotel on Monday, police said via the Philadelphia Inquirer.
An unidentified male suspect removed the jewelry from Iverson’s backpack around 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Sofitel Hotel, WPVI reported. Iverson, 44, was not there at the time of the robbery.
Police are looking for a 20-year-old, approximately 6-foot tall black man who was last seen wearing a dark jacket, red shirt, dark pants and black and white sneakers. The department released a surveillance photo of the man.
