Alabama WR Jameson Williams reportedly diagnosed with torn ACL suffered in national championship game

Alabama wide receiver Jameson Williams was diagnosed with a torn ACL on Tuesday after suffering the injury in Monday's national championship loss to Georgia, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. He'll have surgery with in the next 10 days, per the report.

Williams was helped from the field in the second quarter after suffering a left knee injury while cutting upfield.

Williams' knee gave way as he sprinted forward after catching a long pass from Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young. Williams immediately crumpled to the ground in pain and was unable to put any weight on his left leg as he left the field with the assistance of athletic trainers.
