Bobby Bowden is standing by President Donald Trump.
The former Florida State coach endorsed Trump’s re-election campaign Wednesday night. Bowden was recently released from the hospital after he contracted COVID-19 and he said in his letter that he wanted to stay alive so that he could vote for Trump.
“I want to thank all the many, many people who were thinking of and praying for me over the last few weeks,” Bowden said. “I just went through a battle with COVID-19 and God just wasn’t ready to take me home yet to be with him.
