The Bengals evened the score at 13 with a 27 yard touchdown pass from Joe Burrow to Tee Higgins. The ball was placed high on Higgins’s’ back shoulder and he leaped and snagged the ball over the outstretched arms of Kansas City defensive back Jaylen Watson with just under 10 minutes remaining in the third quarter.
It seems almost impossible that this game is tied at this point. Kansas City dominated the first half: it got into the red zone three times, sacked Burrow four times and secured an interception, but only went into halftime with a 7-point lead.
