On Thursday night, Robert Griffin III plays in his second game as a Cleveland Brown, and his second as their starter, in their preseason home debut against the Falcons.
After his first game last week in Green Bay, head coach Hue Jackson summarized his assessment of Griffin with, “I thought for a guy that hadn’t played in a while, I thought there were some positives there."
Unsaid what how long that while had been, how long ago Griffin’s previous game was. Well, it was a year ago Saturday, also in preseason Week 2, when Griffin was in Washington and the Lions were at FedEx Field.
