With Aric Almirola still recovering from the broken back he suffered in a hard crash at Kansas Speedway, Darrell “Bubba” Wallace Jr. has been selected as the temporary driver of the iconic No. 43 Richard Petty Motorsports Ford.

Wallace will make his first start in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series in Sunday’s Pocono 400 at Pocono Raceway. Friday morning at the 2.5-mile Pennsylvania track, Wallace met with the media.
