Marcus Fraser maintained his lead atop the 2016 Rio Olympics leaderboard after a solid effort Friday, but it will take more than that to hold off former major winners Henrik Stenson of Sweden and Justin Rose of Great Britain as they both stand within a handful of strokes of the Australian.
While the Americans have disappointed in men's golf to this point, some of the other best players in the field have stepped up in their quest for the first medals to be awarded in the sport since 1904.
