2016 Outlook: Roy Hibbert

Related Topics: Roy Hibbert

Roy Hibbert took another step back last season, finishing with his worst season-long averages to date. The 29-yea-rold actually started all 81 games for the Lakers, but was largely invisible, averaging just 5.9 points and 4.9 rebounds per game, with 1.4 blocks per game his only saving grace. The Hornets brought Hibbert in on a one-year contract this summer, and there is a chance he might be able to earn a starting role with the team, in the wake of Al Jefferson's departure. Still, Hibbert's game has really regressed, and he needs to improve quite a bit from where he was last season to be much more than a blocks specialist, so don't consider him outside of deeper category-based leagues on Draft Day.
