2016 Outlook: Joffrey Lauvergne

Related Topics: Joffrey Lauvergne

With so many talented young big men on the roster, it is easy to get lost in the shuffle in Denver, and that is just what happened to Joffrey Lauvergne last season. Lauvergne's role fluctuated, but he was productive when he got on the floor, averaging 7.9 points and 4.9 rebounds in just 17.6 minutes per game, solid per-minute numbers that make you think he could be a breakout candidate entering his age-25 season. Unfortunately, Lauvergne probably won't be able to lock down a starting role with Nikola Jokic, Jusuf Nurkic and Kenneth Faried around, which limits his appeal to just the last few rounds in deeper leagues on Draft Day as a sleeper.
