Dale Earnhardt Jr., Joey Logano and Jimmie Johnson are among former champions running in the 2016 Daytona 500. The Great American Race will be run Feb. 21.
Every winner since 2006 is in the field. They include Matt Kenseth, Trevor Bayne, Jamie McMurray, Ryan Newman and Kevin Harvick. Even 2001 and 2003 winner Michael Waltrip has a ride.

This year's race will be staged under NASCAR's new rules governing aerodynamics and green-white-checkered finishes.
