Coastal Carolina's season was hanging in the balance. Faced with elimination Tuesday night, the Chanticleers used a three-run eighth inning to force a third and deciding game in the College World Series with a 5-4 win over Arizona at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Neb.

Game 3 of the series will be played Wednesday night.

The teams were tied 2-2 after seven innings on Tuesday, but the Chanticleers got to the Wildcats bullpen after struggling to get good contact off starter Kevin Ginkel.
