Wide receiver is considered by many to be the deepest position in fantasy football, and we agree. But there is something to be said about getting consistent production from the position, which is not so easy to obtain.
For this reason, targeting an elite receiver in the first round is not a bad way to start your draft, especially if you are picking in the later half of the round and the best running backs are off the board.
Antonio Brown is the consensus top choice at the position, and for good reason. Besides finishing 2014 with the most total fantasy points in both standard scoring and Points Per Reception leagues, he was also the most consistent receiver, topping 10 standard fantasy points in 14 of his 16 games.
