As a fan of the Giants since the mid-1970s, I've had the privilege of seeing many of the greatest running backs in team history. And as a student of the Giants' long history, I've learned about some of the best running backs from earlier eras of the franchise.
The Giants have had their share of great players at this position. Take the simple metric of the 1,000-yard season: There have been 10 Giants running backs who have rushed for more than 1,000 yards in a season. Seven of those players have done it more than once, led by Tiki Barber with six.
