WATCH: Exaggerator Wins 141st Preakness Stakes

On a muddy, rainy and cold track at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland, Exaggerator came out on top in the 141st Preakness Stakes. Exaggerator finally defeated Nyquist, after coming up short in his previous four races. Exaggerator came from 13 lengths behind to capture the win on the final stretch.

Preakness favorite Nyquist won the Kentucky Derby earlier this year, but will not get a chance to become the second straight horse to win the Triple Crown. Nyquist had 3/5 odds, while Exaggerator had 5/2 odds.

Cherry Wine came in second, passing Nyquist at the end of the race. It's the first loss ever for Nyquist. Cherry Win had 17-1 odds, fifth best in the race.

The next leg of the Triple Crown is the Belmont Stakes on June 11th.
