MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – Senior Yana Khabina made her season debut at the Mountaineer Classic, finishing second in the 800 meters with a personal-best time of 2:16.21 to lead the Toledo women's track & field team in Friday night action. It was Khabina's first-ever attempt running the 800.
Despite the bitter cold weather in Morgantown, West Va., the Rockets were able to come up with some impressive runs. Junior Rebecca Snyder finished second in the 1500m with a time of 4:47.45, followed by senior Riley Kwiatkowski in eighth (4:55.16) and sophomore Paige Embaugh in 10th with a personal-best time of 4:59.
