TOLEDO, Ohio - The University of Toledo women's tennis team heads to Charleston, W.Va this weekend to participate in the Thunder in the Mountains Tournament, co-hosted by West Virginia and Marshall, Sept. 20-22. This will mark the inaugural Thunder in the Mountains tourney, which will be played in a hidden dual format, with doubles in the mornings and singles to follow.
Last Time Out
The Rockets opened tournament play last weekend at the Bowling Green Invitational, where sophomore Christina Fuller went undefeated in the Freddie Falcon bracket. Fuller battled through three, three-set thrillers, defeating NIU's Fernanda Naves, along with Oakland's Aarja Chakraborty and Samantha Galloway.
