One piece of the 2023-24 Toledo men’s basketball roster is complete.
The Rockets have signed William and Mary transfer Ben Wight.
The Columbus native spent four years at William and Mary and will have two seasons of eligibility. Wight averaged 10.9 points on 51.1 percent shooting, with 5.2 rebounds last season for the Tribe.
“Very successful team. Great coaching staff. Great offense,” the 6-foot-9, 220-pound forward said about UT. “I see myself fitting in well. There’s an opportunity.”
Wight fits the same profile as almost all of Toledo’s recent transfers: he was originally recruited by the Rockets out of high school.
