CLEVELAND — No city in the United States is more synonymous with discovery than Las Vegas.
It was there that Dante Maddox, Jr., found out he liked the 2023-24 University of Toledo men’s basketball team. And it came after the Rockets lost three consecutive games.
“They did a great job scheduling,” Maddox said. “We played a lot of great teams with a lot of young players. It was their first time playing college basketball, and we put them in the fire. But we learned that we were right there, one play away. We used those examples and situations to get to now.
