Western road trip changes plans for UT heading into BYU game

The University of Toledo football team arrived back in Toledo early Sunday morning after defeating Colorado State 41-35 on Saturday night. After the Rockets took an overnight flight following the game that lasted past 2 a.m. Eastern Time, it left them rearranging their weekly preparation for their home game against BYU this week.

“It eliminates Sunday completely off the preparation, which is a big work day for us here,” Toledo coach Jason Candle said. “You've got to give the guys the time they are required to have off and the time they deserve to have off. It's a really hard deal to come back and get moving, but you have to tweak and turn and try to eliminate some of the stuff out of the early week prep and yet really do a good job of highlighting what is necessary moving forward.
