Last week’s loss at Western Michigan was of the soul crushing variety. Now, the Rockets can wipe their slate clean with a victory over Akron, getting a dose of revenge on the Zips and creating momentum that Toledo must carry into the following weeks.
“You have to tell yourself the truth, and you’ve got to them,” Toledo head coach Jason Candle said. “That’s our task as we head into another conference game.
