Toledo offensive lineman Lavel Dumont has been nominated for the 2021 Allstate AFCA Good Works team.
The sophomore has been an active community volunteer throughout his career at UT, dedicating his team at Toledo Children’s Hospital, Toledo Boys and Girls Club, Ronald McDonald House, Glass City Kids Run, and Victory Day at the Glass Bowl.
Allstate Insurance and the American Football Coaches Association honor college football players each season, since 1992, who balance academics and athletics, while remaining committed to helping others and bettering their communities. More than 100 athletes with inspiring stories of helping others were nominated in 2021.
