Cleveland, Ohio - University of Toledo female student-athletes have been named the recipients of the 2017-18 Mid-American Conference Faculty Athletics Representative (FAR) Academic Achievement Award, the conference office announced today. The FAR awards recognize the conference institution with the highest overall grade point average (GPA) rank for both men's and women's student-athletes. This is the first time the UT women have won the award. The UT men have won the award three times.
The conference FARs worked with the conference's athletic academic advisors to compute an award that best represents the academic achievement of student-athletes in a competitive setting.
