University of Toledo junior quarterback Mitch Guadagni was named the Mid-American Conference West Division Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in the Rockets’ 63-44 win over Nevada at the Glass Bowl.
Guadagni completed 15-of-24 passes for 211 yards and four touchdowns and added a team-best 131 rushing yards and two rushing scores.
Guadagni connected with Cody Thompson on two TD throws and added TD passes to Jon’Vea Johnson and Diontae Johnson.
He is the first Toledo quarterback to rush for 100 yards in a game since Aaron Opelt in 2009.
