Get your passports ready, the University of Toledo football team is bound for the Bahamas.
The Rockets (7-5, 5-3 MAC) accepted an invitation to play in the Makers Wanted Bahamas Bowl Dec. 21 against Florida International (8-4, 6-2) from Conference USA.
“The team is ecstatic about having the opportunity to play in the postseason and be with their senior class one more time and just to have one more journey together here,” Toledo coach Jason Candle said. “It’s really a cool experience that they will be able to go down to the Bahamas and have a chance to participate in that game.
