UT men's basketball coach test positive for coronavirus

The University of Toledo head men’s basketball coach Tod Kowalczyk has tested positive for coronavirus, the university announced Monday morning.

Kowalcyzk will self-isolate for 10 days and has released this statement:

“I tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday and am currently self-isolating for 10 days following all of the necessary protocols that our university's medical staff has established. Associate head coach Jeff Massey will be assuming my coaching duties during my absence. I look forward to returning to coaching the team once all of our safety protocols have been met.”
