University of Toledo football coach Jason Candle said his defensive front was decimated by injuries by the end of last season.
He says the unit this season should be much deeper. The stars of the line are junior defensive end Olasunkanmi Adeniyi and senior defensive tackle Marquise Moore.
Senior Tuzar Skipper is slated to start opposite Adeniyi and senior Zach Quinn and Maryland grad transfer Malik Jones should be in the rotation as backups.
At defensive tackle, senior Nate Childress is the favorite to start alongside Moore. But Willie Ross, Daniel Davis, Lamarr Davis, and junior college transfer Reggie Howard will all push for playing time at the position.
