The University of Toledo athletic department recorded the school’s second-highest grade-point average during the spring semester.
UT athletes combined to earn a 3.343 GPA, with all 16 sports above a 3.0 Men’s golf led the way with a 3.660.
“Despite the continuing challenges created by the pandemic, our student-athletes have continued the proud academic tradition of Rocket Athletics with another outstanding semester,” Toledo athletic director Mike O’Brien. “I am particularly pleased by the fact that all 16 of our varsity sports earned at least a 3.0 GPA. Special recognition goes to head coach Jeff Roope and our men’s golf program for posting our highest team GPA.
