The University of Toledo women’s basketball team shot 45.9 percent from the field as the Rockets rolled to an 88-23 exhibition victory Sunday over the University of Northwestern Ohio at Savage Arena.
Fifteen players saw action and 14 scored for the Rockets, who open the regular season Nov. 9 at Oakland.
"It was nice to see a solid effort from everyone on our roster today," UT head coach Tricia Cullop said. "We can't wait for the regular season to begin."
After allowing Northwestern Ohio to score 13 points in the first quarter, the Rockets yielded just 10 points the rest of the way.
